Resident registration

Under the Basic Resident Registration Law, international students are required to complete the resident registration procedure, as detailed below.

Procedure

International students studying in Japan are required to complete the resident registration procedure at their local city or ward office within 14 days of entry into Japan. The Residence Card is then surrendered to the immigration officer at the port of departure, when leaving Japan with no intention to return.

Changes to residency procedures

Under recent changes to the residency system, the former Alien Registration Card has been replaced by the Residence Card.

The Alien Registration Card has been abolished and replaced by the Residence Card. Foreign nationals holding an Alien Registration Card can submit an application to their local Immigration Bureau to be automatically issued with a Residence Card.

Procedure

出愿要求：拿横滨大学的经济经营类举例，留考分数在80%以上+托福托业成绩。部分大学只能提交托福（东外不要求英语），。具体要去报考专业查询。建议总分在650左右的同学报考。

第三类大学（20多-50名的大学）

出愿要求：拿埼玉大学经济经营专业来说，留考要求日语（不算记述）280分↑，综合+数学280分↑，因此建议总分在600分左右的同学报考。英语要求要具体看报考专业。

第四类大学（51-100名的大学）

出愿要求：如果是经济经济商学类，建议留考日语（不含记述）300左右。普通文科的话建议留考日语（不含记述）250分+。数学文综尽量有60%以上的得分。理工的话可以参考茨城大学，要求留考日语（含记述）+数学+理科总分在550分以上，当然排名靠后的大学比这个分数低点也可以的，但不能低于平均分。

第五类大学（101-200的大学）

代表大学：

国公立：上越教育大学，群马县立女子大学，静冈县立大学，神奈川县立福祉保健大学。

私立：东洋大学，丽泽大学，帝京大学，东海大学，亚细亚大学，武藏野大学，工学院大学，东京工科大学。

二、日本本科入学途径

语言学校过渡

这是目前最普遍的途径。是先通过去语言学校过渡，期间在日本参加EJU考试和各个大学的校内考试，通过后读本科。

直接参加EJU留考和校内考

如今，越来越多的学生注意到留学前准备的重要性，把EJU的准备放在国内，比其余学生更早进行准备，大大节省在日本备考的时间成本以及经济成本。学生可以申请考试时间的旅游签证，去参加留学考试和意向学校的校内考试。这种方式建议日语非常好，而且专业能力也非常强的同学去尝试。

其实这种方式前期能够达到要求的学生比较少，更重要的是日本的大学从报名、到考试、到入学办理签证等等，是一个很漫长的过程，需要专业指导。

申请SGU英语授课项目

申请去日本留学的时候不需要日语成绩，也不用参加EJU考试；需要提交英语托福//托业/雅思、SAT、高中成绩等申请文书。主要是看出身学校、平时成绩、英语成绩等因素。英语水平不是很好的同学不建议尝试。

另外需要注意的是，并不是所有的大学都开设英文授课项目，所以英语授课大学和专业都是有限的；竞争也很激烈。

别科有点类似于英美国家所说的预科，是日本大学针对日本留学生开设的日语课程，但是没有升学指导。设立别科的基本都是私立大学，国公立大学较少。进入别科之后也不代表一年以后就可以进入这所学校，而且相对于语言学校对于学生入学时候的语言能力有一定要求，还有可能需要面试。

三、日本语言类考试

英语：根据学校要求不同，共托福、托业、雅思三种成绩可供提交。托福认可度最高，几乎全部高校都认可，所以推荐报考托福。

但托福题目比较难，考试内容比较全面，进行专业性的指导是非常重要的。托业在考学中也是相当受重视的一项英语考试，考试内容基础，题量比较大，难度相对较小，比托福报名费用便宜，可以多次刷分，比较受留学生青睐。

日语：日语成绩的要求也不尽相同日语作为留学非常重要的工具，尽量还是要多下功夫。尤其是对于打算报考顶尖名校的同学来说，日语达到N1更为稳妥。不过具体要求还是要以各个学部为准。
